Where should we stay?

We are happy to chat with our out of town guests about any neighbourhoods or accommodations of interest. Both hotels and AirBnB accommodations are abundant. The wedding venue is easily accessible by public transit (and taxis and Ubers). Hotels in very short walking distance to the wedding venue are limited but include: The Gladstone Hotel (Queen St W @ Gladstone Ave - close but loud at night), The Drake Hotel (Queen St W @ Beaconsfield Ave), The Ode Toronto (Dundas St W @ Gladstone Ave) and Nester-Finn West Queen West (Dufferin St just north of Queen St W).

What is the best way to get into the city from the aiport?

The UP express runs from Pearson Airport (YYZ) into the downtown core. You can connect to public transportation (aka the TTC ) from the UP express at either Union Station or Dundas West Station. Toronto also has a second airport, Billy Bishop (YTZ), which is located downtown. It is an easier and more gentle place to land if you can swing it.

What is the best way to get to the wedding venue?

We very strongly suggest that you do not drive your own vehicle as nearby parking is extremely limited. Taxi or Uber is a great option. To get there by public transportation: All of Toronto's streetcars stop at Ossington Avenue including the King (504), Queen (501), Dundas (505), and College (506). The venue is located on Ossington Avenue, between Queen and Dundas. For those connecting from further north and south (including from the Ossington subway station) you can take the Ossington Bus (63) - the closest stop is Argyle Street.

How about them Blue Jays?

If you are joining us from out of town, we encourage you to secure your accommodation early. If Toronto's beloved Blue Jays go all the way again this year our wedding will likely overlap with the World Series and the city will be hopping! We know this is optimistic but our fingers and toes are crossed!
